Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

Gardenly Studio (the "App") is a plant-care, garden-planning and personal garden-journal application provided by TALENT SOLUTION PROVIDER, Pakistan ("we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains the information the App accesses and stores, how it is used, when third parties may receive technical data, and how you can manage your information. The App's main garden-management features work offline and do not require account registration.

2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AND LOCAL STORAGE

You can voluntarily save plant names and profiles, planting dates, garden areas, watering intervals, care schedules, completed tasks, soil and sunlight notes, fertilizer and pest observations, propagation information, journal entries, and photos of your plants. The App also saves local settings such as your theme preference and reminder choices. These records are stored in the App's private storage on your Android device, including a local Room/SQLite database and locally saved image copies. We do not operate a server that receives your garden records, journal entries or selected personal growth photos.

3. PHOTOS AND MEDIA ACCESS

If you select a growth photo through Android's system Photo Picker, Gardenly Studio processes it on your device and saves a reduced-size JPEG copy in the App's private files. Your original gallery image is not changed. The App does not automatically upload selected personal photos. You may delete saved photos using the App's gallery controls. The current App uses system pickers rather than requesting broad access to your entire photo library.

4. OPTIONAL INTERNET PHOTOGRAPHS AND THIRD PARTIES

Some decorative and editorial plant or garden images are requested from Pexels (images.pexels.com) when an image has not been bundled with the App or already cached locally. Those HTTPS requests can disclose technical connection information, such as your IP address, requested image URL, time of request, and other standard network details, to the image provider and relevant network intermediaries. IP addresses may indicate an approximate location. Pexels handles such information under its own policy: https://www.pexels.com/privacy-policy/. Gardenly Studio does not attach your personal plant records, journal text or selected growth photos to editorial image requests. If you are offline, a local fallback image may be shown while the App's core features remain available.

5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND REMINDERS

The App includes Android's INTERNET permission for optional editorial images. If you choose to enable care reminders, Android 13 and later may ask for notification permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS). The App uses on-device scheduling to show local reminders; it does not require a remote push-messaging account. You can turn reminders off in the App or manage notification permission in Android Settings. Photos, PDF export destinations and backup locations are selected through Android's system file or photo pickers.

6. PURPOSES OF USE

Your local records are used to organize plants and growing areas, calculate and display care schedules, show journals and growth timelines, display local reminders, and generate reports or backups that you request. App preferences are used to remember your selected appearance and reminder settings. Optional online image requests are made to display editorial plant photography. We do not use your private garden records for advertising or behavioral profiling.

7. EXPORTS, BACKUPS AND SHARING

You can choose to create PDF garden reports and ZIP backups containing saved records, notes and photos. You select the destination through Android's document interface. Exported files are not encrypted by Gardenly Studio, so anyone with access to an exported file may be able to read its contents. If you share an export or save it to a cloud service, the receiving app or service may handle that copy under its own privacy terms. Restoring a backup may replace local records after validation and confirmation. The App does not automatically upload your reports or backups to our servers.

8. ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS AND ACCOUNTS

The current Gardenly Studio source does not include an advertising network, an analytics SDK, Firebase services, or user accounts. We do not sell your personal garden records or chosen growth photos. However, optional editorial image hosting involves the third-party technical data described in Section 4. For this reason, the App should not be described as making absolutely no internet requests or as preventing all third-party technical-data processing.

9. SECURITY

Local garden data and copied photos are stored in Android app-private storage, protected by the device's normal application sandbox. Optional internet images are requested through HTTPS. We do not promise that any device or network is completely secure. PDF and ZIP files exported outside the App's private storage are not protected by app-level encryption. You should use trusted destinations and handle exported files carefully.

10. DATA RETENTION, DELETION AND YOUR CHOICES

Locally saved information remains on your device until you delete relevant plant records, activities, tasks or photos using the App, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App, subject to Android device behavior. Uninstalling or clearing local storage generally removes private App records, but does not remove copies of files you previously exported or shared elsewhere. You must delete those copies at their destination. You can disable notifications using the App or Android Settings. Third-party image-host request logs, if any, are controlled by the image host according to its policies. The App does not offer online accounts that require a separate account-deletion procedure.

11. CHILDREN AND CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Gardenly Studio is a general-purpose plant and garden organization tool, not an application specifically directed to children. We do not ask users to create child profiles or provide dates of birth. We may update this policy when App features, data practices or applicable requirements change. Any updated policy should display a revised effective or last-updated date in the App and on its published privacy-policy webpage.
